Founding Artist Bio

Hi! I am the Co-founder of the Lemon Pickle Collective, I am an architecture graduate turned artist and have been practicing and developing my practice for the last three years. My work is rooted in an exploration of my British Indian Muslim heritage. It draws strongly on the complexity of heritage and the exploration of space and identity. Playing with smaller traditions and symbols to create new dream worlds! 

Summer (2023) I debuted my solo exhibition ‘Coming Home’ in @summerhallery Edinburgh, funded and supported by the charity @spititout_project . My work has also been featured in the Royal Academy of Arts, Summer Exhibition (2021), Tate Britain’s digital installation ‘Finding Home’ (2021) and I have been commissioned by the @tatecollective.  You can follow me on Instagram
