Delivering Change: Transforming Access to Culture
Delivering Change is a programme by Museums Galleries Scotland that acknowledges the historical exclusion of many of Scotland’s people and communities from museums and their narratives. This three-year programme, funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund, thanks to National Lottery players, Esmée Fairbairn Foundation, and the Scottish Government. This three-year initiative is dedicated to supporting museums and galleries across Scotland in making meaningful changes that ensure culture is accessible to all.
Our Project: An Artistic Response to the Glasgow School of Art Archive
As part of the Delivering Change programme, our project aims to focus on creating an artistic response to objects and artifacts within the Glasgow School of Art Archive Collection. Participants will have the opportunity to visit the archive, engage in themed workshops, and take part in practice development sessions. These sessions will support the creation of individual pieces of work, which will be showcased in a public exhibition and in a feature via our digital magazine The Mix.
Our Creatives of Colour Meetup is a space for BPoC creatives to connect, collaborate and progress together. You'll find a supportive space where you can network, receive peer support and showcase your work for feedback. It's a space where we come together to develop resources, share insights, and gain the knowledge needed to advance both career and creative practices.
